Chapman & Chapman LLP was established by Richard (Dick) F. Chapman in downtown Waxahachie, Texas in 1929 upon his graduation from the University of Texas School of Law.  This was on the cusp of the Great Depression, but he persevered through the lean years to establish a thriving practice.  You can still see the Texas case report books that he hand bound in the 1930's in our conference room.  Steve Chapman joined the firm in 1965 and moved the firm to its present location in 1987.  Jim Chapman joined the firm in 1991 and has continued the family tradition.  Wanda Joslin has been a legal assistant with the firm for over thirty years.
